Are you searching for a place to belong, an authentically inclusive community?

Ascension & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church takes loving God and loving our neighbor seriously.

We believe God loves all, including our LGBTQ+ family.

We are part of God’s Beloved Community and are doing our own work to put an end to systemic racism.

We know that many suffer from addiction and that recovery occurs through belief in a power greater than ourselves and through helping one another.

Procter Summer Camp

In addition to the camps we have all always loved, we are also introducing three new camps this summer!

Camp Launch, July 14-16
Young Adults age 18-24

This new camp is designed for young adults in transition. Moving from one season of life into whatever comes next - College, Vo-Tech, Gap Years, the Workforce - can be overwhelming, even for the best-prepared young adult. This camp is a chance to celebrate their accomplishments and prepare for the next chapter of their lives while exploring what faith means to them all while building community with others who are also trying to "launch". We’ll have the usual camp fun in the lake, singing around the fire, and working on the farm, as well as practical learning activities:

  • Cooking simple recipes

  • Household skills

  • Budgeting/Monetary Responsibility

  • Interview Skills

  • Rental/Lease Agreements and Roommate Practices

Choose-Ur-Own-Adventure Camp, July 18-20
All Adult Ages

You are never too grown-up to go to camp! This new session offers a unique opportunity for adults to have the summer camp experience of their choice - active, restful, solitary, or with a group of friends - there will be outdoor and indoor activities for all, as well as time for community and memory-making around the campfire. Callie Swanlund will be our camp guide, spiritual companion, retreat leader, and creative minister. Drawing from her book on overcoming burnout, she'll share practices for flourishing in our faith and lives. In between structured sessions, there will be abundant opportunities to rest your body, refresh your spirit, and find joy in God's creation.

Conservation Camp, July 21-25
Ages 12 to 16

Are you the type of person who feels most connected to God through nature? Would you like to explore and build your faith in an outdoor setting? At this camp, not only will campers connect more with the earth and learn and share about conservation practices, but they will also be given the opportunity to explore how their bond to nature can connect them to something MORE. This camp will include lots of the usual camp fun with added adventures!

Activities will include:

  • Woodland plant walk and foraging

  • Hands-on Farming, Forestry, and Wildlife Education

  • Lake activities

  • Campfire cooking

  • Tent camping (one night)

  • Shelter building

  • Star gazing

  • Habitat Exploration

  • Wild Church
