In the Parish Hall.
Yoga Leela is a form of Sangha (Community) Yoga. Sangha Yoga (as opposed to commercial yoga) is focused on bringing people of different backgrounds and ages together to form a wellness community. There is no set fee but a donation is requested. We have additional yoga mats if you don’t have one. You may want to bring some water with you.
Yoga Leela is a “movement” meditation that attempts to bring the body, mind and spirit together even it is for a short length of time. Students are encouraged to embark upon their own internal spiritual journeys even as they join the physical flow of the class. Breathing is also emphasized as a way of creating mindfulness.
This is a multi-level intermediate-exertion class with instructions for modifying up or down. Everything is optional, except breathing. The values that guide this interfaith practice are respect, acceptance and affirmation. More info can be found at http://yoga-leela.com.
