Habitat for Humanity

This week the HOPE Coalition met to plan this summer’s build, which will be on Hallwood Street in Avondale, and begins in early July.

Each of the seven participating congregations has been asked to provide a team of 6-8 volunteers one Saturday each month to work on the build site and make lunches for 20 people. I know A&HT can meet these modest goals, but we need your help.

Working on a H4H build is a tremendously rewarding experience, a chance to see your work pay off in our community. Anyone 18 or older can volunteer (16 or older if accompanied by an adult), and no experience is needed, so please consider joining us as the house goes up! The dates for each congregation will be announced soon.
