Fellowship Ministry

The purpose of Fellowship Ministry is to help A&HT’s mission of putting God’s love into action by providing social activities throughout the year for our congregation, newcomers, and our community. Jean Panos has been leading this since January, and has many people working together and separately to create activities that build our church community.

Ministries include: Coffee Hour coordination, Children’s activity bags, 40’s and Under, 50’s and Forward, Funeral reception planning, Simple Summer Suppers, and Social Activities (like Shrove Tuesday, Cookouts, Golf Outing, and Rectory Open House).

Social and Fellowship changes with the times, and what the congregation needs, so we are open to doing things that people are willing to lead, and stopping ones that aren’t fun anymore.

Are you interested in playing a part in building our church community? There are ways for people of all ages to help.

  1. Sign up for Coffee Hour: Baking and cleaning up after Coffee Hour is a great way to get your kids involved. Or create a Coffee Hour team. For instance, Anne and Pat Brack are looking for 4-6 more people to host coffee hour every 2nd Sunday during the year.
  2. Volunteer to host a social activity – we can even provide a modest budget!
  3. Volunteer to help with any of the current ministries (see below for contacts)

A&HT is grateful to have such a vibrant ministry that helps our congregation get together in love and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who is a part of it!
