Grow up in faith at A&HT, regardless of age!
We have dedicated teachers and volunteers that want your children and you to develop a close relationship with God and their church family. We create a safe and nurturing environment where people feel loved and ask many questions while they grow in their faith. We are open to ALL – regular parishioners and all visitors, Sundays at 10am for Preschool – 8th grade.
Preschool – 2nd Grade / 3rd – 5th Grade
Feasting on the Word
Feasting on the Word curriculum follows the Revised Common Lectionary. It integrates the Feasting on the Word commentary style to explore one of the lectionary passages each week. It begins with solid scriptural and theological base for leaders and invites leaders and learners deeper into the rhythm of the church year. It utilizes a common Bible passage for all learners, making it easy to learn and live out your faith.
6th – 8th Grade
Confirm, Not Conform
Confirm, Not Conform is a confirmation program that emphasis giving youth a choice and a voice; and giving them space to explore their questions and choices. It celebrates young people’s spirituality, creativity, and responsibility. Over the course, students come to believe we’re serious about giving them a voice and, when they claim it, the results are amazing. The program not only energizes youth; it strengthens and engages the whole congregation. In allowing our young people to grow, we end up growing our whole community.
9th – 12th Grade
Christian Teen Studies for High School Students meets at 9a each Sunday during the school year. Get up early and join our vibrant group of 20+ teens.
We have many opportunities to learn. Generally, Adult Formation is presented as a 4-10 week series on a particular topic at 9a or 11:30a. For 17/18, we are experiencing Exodus together in conjunction with The Diocese of Southern Ohio’s Big Read.
People outside of A&HT are welcome to join age appropriate classes and events.
